The Mood:

This mid size condominium property is located in the heart of Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. It is classified as a ‘soft loft’ with architectural elements such as concrete posts and exposed duct work. As a design team we worked to improve usability in the main space by creating an oversized island for cooking and entertaining. Local trades and recycled materials were an important aspect to this project.

The Client:

A young, hip and busy real estate couple purchased this condo rehab after ‘experimenting’ with suburban living for a short stint! The West Loop drew them back into this highly desirable neighborhood and metropolitan lifestyle. They wanted beautiful, serene and well organized spaces to call home for themselves and their urban pooch.
